Some iPhone users are really annoyed because of a glitch that’s happening when they try to type.
People who’ve updated their Apple devices to iOS 11 or later find that when they type the letter “i” it autocorrects to the letter “A” with a symbol.

What to do about the latest Apple iPhone glitch
This is affecting users who have the new iPhone X, as well as older models. Here's an example:

After being flooded with complaints through social media, Apple addressed the issue November 6 on its support page. It said the problem will be resolved in a future software update.
In the meantime, you can set up text replacement for the letter “i” as a temporary fix:
1. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement
2. Tap the plus sign
3. For Phrase, type an upper-case "I" and then type a lower-case "i" for Shortcut
