Deputies: 2 teens injured in shooting in Pine Hills

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two teenagers were injured in a shooting in Pine Hills Monday afternoon, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to an apartment complex in the 5400 block of Pine Chase Dive around 2:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

They arrived to find two victims, identified only as teenaged males, with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were taken to the hospital. The sheriff’s office didn’t release any additional details on the severity of their injuries.

No suspect information has been released.

According to the sheriff’s office, nearby UCP Pine Hills Charter Elementary school was planed on lock-out status for about an hour due to the shooting.
