Actor Alan Thicke has died at age 69, according to TMZ.
The celebrity gossip site reported that Thicke died Tuesday while playing hockey with his son.
The Los Angeles Times confirmed the news with the publicist of Thicke's son, singer and songwriter Robin Thicke.
Thicke was known for his role as Jason Seaver on the '80s sitcom "Growing Pains." He recently appeared in "Fuller House," a 2016 sequel to the television series "Full House" which aired from 1987 to 1996.
Thicke also wrote the theme song for the hit sitcom.
