MARION COUNTY, Fla. — The Marion County father who appeared in a video on YouTube threatening anyone who picked on his daughter is now facing charges for punching her.
Gene Leonhardt defended his 12-year-old daughter, Jessi Slaughter after she was made fun of by her classmates.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office said Leonhardt was arrested last week for hitting his daughter in the mouth.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
