OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A landfill south of Holopaw is only one of a few in Florida qualified to take on waste from the Gulf Coast cleanup.
The Osceola News Gazette's 'Around Osceola' website reports that the J.E.D. Solid Waste Management Facility has already received word that it can expect to receive oil-contaminated sand if the oil reaches the west coast of Florida.
