FOUR CORNERS, Fla. — A person was shot early Saturday outside a Four Corners McDonald’s, five miles east of the Walt Disney World Resort, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said.
The person was shot shortly before 2:45 a.m. in the restaurant parking lot on U.S. Highway 27 near West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, said Sheriff’s Office spokesman Fred Jones.
A witness told deputies someone in a dark colored sedan pulled up, started a conversation and shot the victim before fleeing, Jones said.
The victim, who wasn’t publicly identified, was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
Security cameras captured footage of the shooting, Jones said.
The incident remains under investigation.
No other information was released.
