ORLANDO, Fla. — A car collided with a Lynx bus Friday in Orlando, injuring several people, including the bus driver, Lynx officials said.
The crash happened on Americana Boulevard and San Antonio Avenue at about 8:30 a.m.
"We were sitting waiting for someone to pay and I was going to finish off the route and I see somebody jerk forward and I hear a loud bang," bus rider Jordan Burton said.
The driver of the car that hit the bus told Channel 9 Eyewitness News reporter Steve Barrett that the sun blinded him and he did not see the bus.

"I was just turning in and I saw the sun coming up and I was trying to put the thing down and I just crashed," car driver Guimort Duarte said.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said that initially only two people complained of injuries, but that as they were being treated, more than a dozen came forward saying they were injured as well.
One of those wasn't even on the bus, troopers said.
"And so far we've already identified one person who was not on the bus but was claiming they were and was transported from this crash," FHP Sgt. Kim Montessaid.
Investigators said that among those claiming to be injured was at least one person who wasn't involved in the accident.
Lynx officials said they have started their own investigation into the crash.
