ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Detectives said they’ve arrested two teenagers in connection to the shooting death of an Orange County man.
Deputies said Marc Rivera, 16, and Jasen Checo, 19, are accused of shooting Kevin Padilla on Rio Pinar Lakes Boulevard in February.
Padilla was found dead next to his electric scooter.
Investigators initially thought he died in a crash but later determined he was shot to death.
Residents in the area said they believe the shooting may have stemmed from an argument.
Deputies said Rivera and the victims knew each other.
