ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida will be partly cloudy and warm Friday as rain and storm chances remain.

Our area will have a 60% chance of afternoon rain and showers Friday.
The high temperature in Orlando should reach around 84 degrees in the afternoon.

The soggy afternoons will continue through the weekend and into Monday.
All the rain coverage will help to keep our temperatures in the mid-80s.

The low-presser system Tropical Depression 2 continues to slowly move south through the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
It will drift southward close to Western Cuba this weekend where it will weaken significantly.
Central Florida is not forecast to see any impacts from the storm.
