ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando staffing agency is working to address a shortage of nurses across Central Florida.

Channel 9 has been reporting on the open positions impacting hospitals and doctor’s offices across the country.

The nursing agency IntelyCare met in Orlando last week, to figure out how to reenergize nurses who are burnt out, and how to prevent them from leaving the field.
“We’ve put together this three-day event to invest in them, and a way to deal with the mental health issues, the traumas they experience,” said Rebecca Love with IntelyCare. “But more importantly, upscale and give them the resources they need to be successful on the frontlines today.”
