APOPKA, Fla. — An Apopka Circle K was robbed early Thursday morning, Orange County deputies said.
Deputies said a man walked into the convenience store at about 2 a.m. Thursday on Orange Blossom Trail.
Investigators said he was armed with a gun.
No one was injured.
Just 30 minutes earlier, authorities said a 7-Eleven was robbed on Wekiva Springs Road. That is about 15 minutes from the Circle K store that was robbed.
Investigators said they are working to determine whether the robberies are connected.
For months, masked gunmen stormed into several stores in the area and terrorized clerks, before escaping.
In some cases, the same men have pulled off multiple crimes, just minutes apart, similar to Thursday night's robberies.
Authorities said they are searching for the robber and are working to obtain surveillance video.
