The delivery of two Carnival Cruise Line ships has been delayed, creating ripple effects for planned itineraries into 2021.
The Doral-based cruise line pushed back the launch of its 6,600-passenger Carnival Mardi Grasfrom Nov. 14 to Feb. 6. The ship was to be the marquee delivery of the year, but the Covid-19 pandemic created construction delays for the 180,000-ton vessel that is to include an onboard roller coaster.
Mardi Graswill launch at Port Canaveral near Orlando. This is the second delivery delay, as the vessel originally was supposed to make its maiden voyage in October.,
