ORLANDO, Fla. — President Barack Obama came to the University of Central Florida in Orlando Friday to campaign for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
He spoke to a packed crowd of excited supporters at the CFE arena.

Obama is the latest in a stream of candidates and big-name politicians who have come to Florida to campaign as the Nov. 8 general election draws nearer.
It was the first visit to the University of Central Florida by a sitting president in 43 years. In June 1973, President Richard Nixon delivered the commencement address at the Reflecting Pond -- back when UCF was still known as Florida Technological University.

Part of Obama message will be to get out and vote early in Florida because turnout is expected to be high and Election Day is likely to be chaotic.
He encouraged young voters in particular to take advantage of early voting.
Obama said Clinton is the only candidate who can continue the progress the country has achieved during his presidency.
“You don’t see her complaining. You don’t see her saying things were rigged,” the president said. “She just comes back and she gets up, and she works harder and works harder until she gets done what she’s supposed to get done.”
He also campaigned for senatorial candidate Rep. Patrick Murphy.
“If you vote to make sure that we have somebody in the White House who cares about civil rights and cares about making sure everybody has a shot, if you vote, you will send Hillary to the White House -- you. You. You will send Patrick Murphy to the United States Senate. It's up to you,” Obama said.

Obama talked about an improved economy, a higher number of insured citizens, and gay marriage.
He said a vote for Clinton will help maintain the progress his administration has made.

“All the progress we've made over these last eight years goes out the window if we don't win this election. Health care for 20 million people goes away,” he said. “The progress we've made on climate change goes away. All the work that we've been doing to make college more affordable goes away. I mean, the stakes could not be higher.”
News broke late Friday that the FBI told eight congressional committee chairmen that investigators examining newly discovered emails that “appear to be pertinent” to the email probe.
Obama did not mention the new developments about the emails at the rally
Some Clinton supporters waiting for Obama at UCF told Channel 9’s Christopher Heath that they’re not fazed by the new investigation.

“I just think, give it a rest,” said Flagler County resident Dawn Dilva.
"It's just ridiculous, it needs to stop,” said Carol Smith.
However, not everyone at the rally echoed the same sentiment.
“It does concern me. I want to know that our representatives are held to a higher standard,” said Oviedo resident Jason Gregory.
Gregory voted twice for Obama, and said he plans to vote of Clinton.
Gregory said while the FBI probe is worrisome, so too is the thought of a Donald Trump presidency.

Undecided voters Eyewitness News spoke to also seem to share the same outlook.
"We should defiantly be able to trust our politicians,” said UCF student Joseph Barrett.
"If there is some serious evidence that she was doing something bad, then yeah, definitely,” said UCF student Logan Clark.
Clinton will campaign in Iowa after appearing Thursday in North Carolina with First Lady Michelle Obama.
Trump, will campaign in New Hampshire, Maine and Iowa on Friday.
