ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they were searching for a man who tried to rob a CVS pharmacy while customers were inside.
Deputies said a passer-by called 911 when he saw someone run into the pharmacy on John Young Parkway and Americana Boulevard, saying it looked like the store was being robbed.
Witnesses said the robber pointed a gun at the clerk, but before he could demand money or drugs, everyone in the store ran.
"The clerk and some patrons inside ran to the back of the store. At that point, the suspect ran out of the store. He was unsuccessful in the robbery," said Paul Hopkins of the orange County Sheriff's Office.
No one was hurt during the incident.
