Empty land across from the Daytona International Speedway will soon be transformed into a new development with hotels, restaurants and shops.
The speedway on Wednesday officially announced plans for the development they are calling One Daytona.
The new development is expected to bring 4,200 new jobs to the area along International Speedway Boulevard.
It will stand at 1.4-million-square-feet of development and will sit on 181 acres that will include shopping, dining, hotel rooms, a huge theater and other entertainment.
There will also be more than 1,300 residential units and more than a half-million-square-feet of office space.
Two anchor attractions have already been announced, including a Bass Pro Shop and the Cobb Theaters.
The project will break ground in about six months to a year with a completion goal of 2016.
