Bomb threat forces evacuation of Titusville Target

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A Titusville Target store was evacuated Wednesday morning after someone called in a bomb threat.

According to Titusville police, the store manager received a call around 11 a.m. saying there was a bomb in the store.

Police said the manager began evacuating the store and called police.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad responded to the store on Columbia Boulevard and evacuated other nearby businesses.

Investigators searched inside and outside the store but found no device.

The store has since reopened.
