KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — We’re waiting to see how some testing issues could impact the launch of NASA’s next moon mission.

Teams at Kennedy Space Center have been testing the Space Launch System rocket for the Artemis I mission overt the past few days.

However, crews found a liquid hydrogen leak during the testing Thursday on the base of the mobile launcher.

Officials said the leak was discovered around 5 p.m. on the tail service mast umbilical, which is located at the base of the mobile launcher and connects to the rocket’s core stage.

Crews are set to discuss how they will move forward on a call at 3 p.m.
