Brevard County woman claims $2 million Powerball prize

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A Brevard County woman claimed a $2 million Powerball prize on Friday.

Lottery officials said Chuwee Gaiwan claimed the prize from the Powerball drawing on Sept. 28, 2022.  Her ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers, but not the Power Ball number.

Officials said Gaiwan bought her winning ticket from Circle K, at 4950 Babcock St. Northeast in Palm Bay. The gas station will get a $5,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The next Powerball drawing will be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m. with an estimated $700 million jackpot.
