BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A deadly head-on crash has State Route 46 shut down in Brevard County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the two-vehicle crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. on SR-46 near Tammy Drive.

One person died at the scene and three other people were taken to a hospital for treatment, troopers said.
Troopers said both directions of SR-46 are blocked for a crash investigation.

Brevard County Fire Rescue said multiple units and two medical helicopters were called in to assist with transporting those who were injured.

No other details about the victims or case of the crash have been released.
