MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. — A 120-acre brush fire is burning in the wildlife reserve near Kennedy Space Center, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The blaze, which started around 3 p.m., is being peppered by rain and few firefighters have been brought in, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue.
It is burning east of Peacocks Pocket Road in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said.
The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.

This fire comes about two weeks after a SpaceX rocket test sparked a brush fire in the reserve.
