Campus fire closes UCF building for second day

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Health and Public Affairs I building on the University of Central Florida campus was closed again Tuesday as officials continued to assess damage caused by a Sunday fire.

All classes in the building were canceled, the university announced on its website.

"Faculty and staff members will not have access to their offices until the building reopens," UCF said in a statement.

The university did not immediately release information on the location or cause of the fire, or the extent of the damage it caused.

The building could remain closed Wednesday, the statement said.
