The city will vote Sept. 13 on whether to spend $9.5 million on 5.5 acres, or roughly $1.7 million an acre, north of West Central Blvd, south of West Washington Street, east of North Terry Avenue and west of North Division Avenue, according to a city council agenda.

The property is in Orlando’s historically segregated and low-income Parramore neighborhood, and sits between the Amway Center and the $1.5 billion Creative Village project.
