A brief taste of winter returns as cold front passes through Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. — After a cold front passed through Central Florida on Sunday, winter has officially returned, for a little while.

Temperatures will fall fast Sunday evening, and by Monday morning, it will be in the low 40s in Orlando and upper 30s to the north and west. But the cold snap only lasts two nights.

By Wednesday, the area will already be back in the upper 70s with mid 80s on Thursday and Friday.

Our next storm system gives us a chance for showers Friday into the weekend, but the resulting cool down that follows doesn’t look to be very dramatic.
