Crews remove fallen tree blocking Kaley Street, roadway reopens

ORLANDO, Fla. — After a day of rain in Orlando, a large tree fell across Kaley Street overnight, shutting down the roadway in both directions, officials said.

City workers responded to the fallen tree on East Kaley Street between Osceola Avenue and Hamilton Lane at about 11:42 p.m., the Orlando Police Department said.

Barricades were put up to alert drivers, and crews returned later in the morning to remove the tree.

By about 8:15 a.m., the tree and other debris had been removed and Kaley Street was reopened.
