Stretch of John Young Parkway reopens after deadly crash

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: A stretch of John Young Parkway reopened after a deadly crash.

Original story:

A deadly crash has shut down a stretch of John Young Parkway in Orange County.

The crash has all lanes along John Young Parkway closed near Carder Road.

The Florida Highway Patrol and several other agencies are at the scene to investigate the crash.

Video from the scene showed a car flipped on its side.

Channel 9 traffic anchor Alexa Lorenzo said if you’re driving in that area, you can take an alternate route on Orange Blossom Trail or Edgewater Drive.
