SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Seminole County man is facing cyber stalking charges after his ex-girlfriend said he posted naked pictures of her on Craigslist.
Deputies said Danny Delgado, 33, posed as his ex-girlfriend online, posted nude photos of her and solicited sex.
Delgado also posted her personal and work addresses, deputies said.
Detectives began their investigation after the woman said men showed up at her job at a Lake Mary hotel to ask her for sex, investigators said.
The men told the woman they found her ad for sex on Craigslist, deputies said. The woman said she never posted the ads.
The woman told deputies she and Delgado were together for two years and broke up Oct. 22. The ads for sex were posted Oct. 26, deputies said. She said she had sent him naked photos when they were dating.
The woman told deputies that Delgado calls her, sends text messages and follows her around town and that she feared for her safety.
Deputies said they spotted Delgado at her place of employment and arrested him for stalking.
An arrest report said a deputy saw Delgado driving slowly through her workplace parking lot.
Delgado is out of jail on a $5,000 bail.
Florida lawmakers passed what is known as the "revenge porn" law in 2015. The law makes it a first-degree misdemeanor to post explicit pictures of someone online without their permission.
Delgado is facing felony charges, which carries harsher penalties than revenge porn charges.
