ORLANDO, Fla. — A deadly crash on John Young Parkway and Colonial Drive closed the roadway Thursday afternoon.
Orlando Police said a driver traveling southbound on John Young Parkway crossed over the median and into oncoming traffic.
The car then crashed into a Coca-Cola tractor-trailer. The driver of the car died, officials said.
A portion of John Young Parkway was closed while crews cleaned up fuel that spilled from the semi.
Police said they were not sure why the driver crossed into the northbound lane.
The names of the people involved were not released.
