ORLANDO, Fla. — Thirty-seven counties across Central Florida experience change as the launch of concealed weapon license replacement services at select Tax Collector Offices enacts.

Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson’s announcement of the launch of concealed weapon license replacement services has led to FDACS’s collaboration with local tax collectors to expand and further streamline concealed weapon license services.

Florida Tax Collectors provide essential services to concealed weapon license holders, including initial applications, fingerprinting and renewals.
Replacement services are anticipated to further simplify the process for Floridians by allowing them to access all significant concealed weapon license services locally.

More than 2.4 million concealed weapon licenses are active in Florida and over 100,000 new applications were processed last fiscal year.
The following counties will offer the Replacement services: Bay, Bradford, Brevard, Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Columbia, Duval, Escambia, Flagler, Franklin, Gilchrist, Hendry, Highlands, Indian River, Jackson, Lafayette, Lake, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Okaloosa and Osceola.

The list continues with additional counties including Pasco, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, Union, Volusia, Walton, and Washington.
