ORLANDO, Fla. — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a crash on State Road 528, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said.
Troopers said the unidentified motorcyclist was driving in the east lanes near Dallas Boulevard in Orlando when he lost control of the motorcycle or fell off.
An oncoming car couldn’t stop in time before hitting the motorcyclist, troopers said.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene.
The east lanes were closed as troopers investigated the crash.
Troopers originally though it was a wrong-way crash, but later clarified what happened.
No other details have been released.
