ORLANDO, Fla. — Officials are trying to determine what caused a fire to erupt at an Orange County gas station on Monday evening.
The fire sparked just after 7 p.m. at the Chevron on the corner of Texas Avenue and Americana Boulevard.
“I don’t know how that fire started, but when I turned my back I saw it. It frightened me because I thought there was a car in there,” said witness Todric McNair.
Firefighters were able to knock out the flames. Orange County Fire Rescue said they are not sure how the fire started. The fire marshal will investigate.
Fortunately, the fire didn't spread to the rest of the gas station and no one was hurt.
