Florida reports more than 2,500 new COVID-19 cases

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida health officials reported 2,581 new cases of COVID-19 in the state since Friday.

The state’s total case numbers have now reached 73,552 with 2,925 deaths.

In Central Florida, Orange County again saw another big leap with 164 new cases reported.

The state reported 48 coronavirus-related deaths.

Polk: 1,414 (+41)
