The property, located across from the Seminole County Courthouse on U.S. Route 1792, has been tied up in a probate court for several years after the owner died. But the location may soon find new life.

Syd Levy, the owner of the property, was in the process of selling it to make way for the Reagan Center, a mixed-use development after Flea World shut down in 2015. He died mid-sale and plans for the Reagan Center never materialized.

In his will, Levy left the property to the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida.

With the probate process over, the property is back on the market and has already seen interest from 22 buyers.

The Boys and Girls Club has been working to determine which of those interested buyers could be shortlisted. Then those buyers would be sent a letter of intent and eventually, a purchase-sell agreement.

The Boys & Girls Club said it wants to move forward with a buyer that will make Levy proud and be an asset to Seminole County.
