COCOA, Fla. — An alligator was trapped after it was found wandering a Cocoa community.
Residents called authorities after spotting the gator in the Coventry neighborhood early Monday evening.
"He didn't walk after me but when I walked the other way around him he opened his mouth and I seen all those teeth," resident Doris Carter said.
Animal Services officers responded to the area and subsequently called a private trapper to catch the gator, which was more than 6-feet long.
Authorities said the gator will most likely be euthanized.
