Haitian gang members suspected in violent home invasion

ORLANDO, Fla. — Details about a violent home invasion in Orlando were released Monday.

Investigators said two men who broke into a Cypress Fairway apartment on Vineland Road Friday are part of a dangerous Haitian gang.

Police said the husband was leaving for work when Max Coriolan and another man barged in and held the couple's young boy at gunpoint.

Concerned neighbors said they had no idea the incident happened.

"The security won't even let us know what happened," said one neighbor who did not want to be identified. "I'm actually quite upset. All he said was, 'It's confidential.'"

Officers said they caught the men because one of the victim's sons jumped out the window and flagged down a car.

Coriolan is being held in jail without bail.

The other man hasn't been named, but police believe the two are members of the infamous Zoe Pound gang, which is based in Miami.
