ORLANDO, Fla. — Local and federal leaders are preparing to discuss their ideas to stop gun violence with the Central Florida community.
On Monday, Mayor Buddy Dyer is set to join U.S. Congressman Maxwell Frost and advocates to discuss a new bill that would create an Office of Gun Violence Prevention.

Officials said it would be established within the U.S. Department of Justice.
The news conference to discuss the bill is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. in Orlando.
