ORLANDO, Fla. — A judge has ordered the city of Orlando to release many of the 911 calls from the night of the Pulse terror attack.
The judge ordered that all calls that came in after 2:12 a.m. on June 12, with the exception of one at 2:14 a.m., be released.
The judge ruled that the 2:14 a.m. call, and the others that came in before 2:12 should be released as written transcripts.

The first calls of gunfire inside the club began at 2:02 a.m.
The decision comes as a result of an ongoing legal battle between several media outlets, including Channel 9, arguing that the calls will give a better idea as to what happened when 49 people were gunned down inside the club by Omar Mateen.
A judge ruled last month ordered the release of the calls Mateen made to 911 and his conversations with a negotiator.
