Health leaders said they are seeing a lot of demand for testing and it seems to come in waves.

Lines were seen weaving through the fairgrounds as some people said they waited about two hours to get tested.

Crews in protective gear are hard at work at the fairgrounds, swabbing noses and testing people for COVID-19.

“I tested positive last week so, you know, doing the follow-up today,” said Darvian Sanchez.

Sanchez is looking to get cleared to go back to work. He was one of dozens of people Wednesday who navigated the drive through the testing site.

One visitor told Channel 9 the other day it took her three hours to get tested at the site.
