Tips continue to pour in after surveillance footage released in fatal Mount Dora convenience store shooting

MOUNT DORA, Fla. — Tips are continuing to pour in to the Mount Dora Police Department in the shooting deaths of a husband and wife who were gunned down during a robbery inside their neighborhood market last week.

On Tuesday afternoon, police released surveillance video of the masked killer from that night.

Police said they’ve received a lot of tips and have continued to receive them after that video was released.

“There is someone in this community that is going to recognize this individual’s mannerisms,” Interim Chief Brett Meade said.

The footage shows the armed suspect, covered in black clothing. In the video, you hear the suspect arguing with one of the owners who is off-screen. It eventually cuts to the suspect fleeing the store.

Police said they responded to the T&N Market on North Grandview Street around 8:50 p.m. on Dec. 7. When they arrived, they found a man and woman, identified as the owners of the store, inside with gunshot wounds.
