Lakeland man jailed on child pornography charges

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A man who is no stranger to the Polk County Jail is back in that facility, this time on child pornography charges.

Polk County Sheriff's investigators said David Sealock Sr. was arrested Tuesday on 31 counts of possession of child pornography.

Investigators said Sealock, who has been booked into the same jail six other times, was arrested after investigators found he was sharing child pornography on the Internet.

Investigators said that while doing an online investigation, they discovered someone in the Lakeland area was sharing images of child pornography.

According to investigators, they identified the computer IP address and got a search warrant for the Sunny Land Drive home where Sealock lives.

Investigators said when they arrived at the house they found a computer running a known peer-to-peer child pornography sharing program.

According to the arrest affidavit, 31 video files depicting sexual acts by children were found on the computer. Investigators said children in the videos ranged in age from toddlers to 13 years old.

Sealock is expected to go before a judge Wednesday afternoon.

His previous arrests included charges of battery, forgery, grand theft and other charges, investigators said.
