At least 7 injured in 2 separate shootings in downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — At least seven people were hurt in two separate shootings in downtown Orlando overnight.

The first shooting happened at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on East Robinson Street near Lake Eola Park.

Police said three people were shot. All of them are expected to survive.

It is not known what led up to the shooting.

The second shooting happened just after 1 a.m. on Orange Avenue near Central Boulevard.

Police said four people were shot. All four of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said there is no one in custody at this time.

Investigators said they are working to collect information and looking at surveillance cameras in the area.

It is not known if the shootings are connected.
