ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — A 2-alarm fire broke out at an Altamonte Springs apartment complex and officials said lightning may be to blame.
Firefighters were called to the Promenade at Uptown apartments on Palm Springs Drive just before 6 p.m. Sunday.
Black plumes of smoke could be seen by drivers on Interstate 4 in Seminole County.
Crews had the fire out by 6:30 p.m.
