ORLANDO, Fla. — Scooters will be rolling their way into Orlando soon.
Earlier this month the city finalized a pilot program allowing companies to rent the scooters out.
Lime, the company behind the green bicycles downtown, said it will introduce the scooters on Jan. 2. By then, it will have removed all the bikes or will start to phase them out.
Lime said it will offer free classes on riding the scooters to teach people how to operate and ride them safely alongside drivers and pedestrians.
