ORLANDO, Fla. — One person is in the hospital after being cut by someone in the parking lot of an Orlando Waffle House, police said.

The suspect cut the victim in the parking lot of the restaurant on South Semoran Blvd. around 2:15 p.m., officers said.

A short time later, police caught the suspect during a traffic stop near John Young Parkway and the Beachline.

The victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.
Police did not release the identity of the suspect or the charges officers plan to file.
