However, investigators say 26-year-old Alexis Ramos-Rivera and 26-year-old Glorianmarie Quinones-Montes mistakenly abducted and killed then 42-year-old Janice Marie Zengotita-Torres, who worked at the same retail store as the intended target.
After weeks of testimony, an Osceola County jury found Ramos-Rivera guilty of first-degree murder, kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery. A date for his sentencing hasn’t been announced.
A trial date for Quinones-Montes is still pending
The accused mastermind, Lopez-Ramos, is scheduled for a competency hearing next month.
