DELAND, Fla. — A man fractured his leg during a hard landing while skydiving in DeLand Saturday afternoon, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident happened shortly before 3 p.m. at Skydive DeLand, officials said.
The man was flown by helicopter to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach in stable condition.
