CLERMONT, Fla. — Police in Clermont responded to a shooting report late Thursday in the 400 block of East Desoto Street.
The shooting was reported at about 10:40 p.m. and when officers arrived at the scene they found Kwame Jackson, 27, seriously injured with a gunshot wound to his back, the Clermont Police Department said.
He was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was listed in serious, but stable, condition.
No information was available on a possible suspect.
Further details on the shooting were not immediately released.
