ORLANDO, Fla. — A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a school bus in Orlando on Wednesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened about 7:10 a.m. near Lake Nona High School in Orange County.
FHP spokeswoman Kim Montes said there were no children on the school bus at the time.
FHP said the bus was leaving the school after dropping off students when the driver rolled through a stop sign, hit the motorcycle and then crashed into a pickup truck.
The name of the motorcyclist has not been released.
It is unknown whether the bus driver will face charges.
