Some of the nearly 300 dogs rescued from a southwest Florida puppy mill could be ready for adoption sometime soon.
Criminal charges are pending after the dogs were found at a puppy mill in Sarasota last week.
About three dozen of the small-breed dogs were brought to Central Florida.
They are now getting groomed, examined and treated at the Little Dog Rescue in Orlando before they're ready for adoption.
