ORLANDO, Fla. — As Memorial Day gets closer, calm weather continues.

Meteorologist George Waldenberger said we will have a stray shower, mainly around Brevard County.
Those who went outside at the farmer’s market or the beach probably noticed the weather was a bit warmer than yesterday.
This will be the trend over the next few days. Warmer and more humid day by day through the middle of next week.

A weak low is developing over the Gulf, and it will slowly track into the Sunshine State, which means we’ll see a return to the stormy afternoon pattern on Thursday.
Severe Weather Center 9 will keep watching the risk for areas of heavy rain Thursday through Saturday each afternoon.
The afternoon storms will return, but it will take a few days for most neighborhoods.
