Deputies responded to a report of a shooting around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of OBT and Americana Boulevard at the Latin American Pawn Shop nearby.
Witnesses told investigators three men in a black, two-door sedan are responsible for the shooting, which deputies characterized as a robbery gone wrong.
Paramedics transported the man to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert, firefighters said.
